Today's nails were inspired but the bold primary colors and patterns that are found within a carnival. In appropriate colors this mani may also be suitable for Independence Day! This tutorial is going to show you how to make stencils for your nails out of sticker sheets. Here is what you will need..
- Sticker Sheet of stars (The stars should be small enough to fit on your nail.)
- Three colors of nail polish (The Art Deco one is the kind with the long skinny brush)
Paint your nails white. I used E.L.F. polish in White.
Add turquoise stripes. I did this freehanded with the Art Deco Nail Art Lacquer in Turquoise. Let the nails completely dry.
Cut out around the star shapes on the sticker sheet. Peel off the area around the sticker (this is now your stencil), you will not use the actual star shaped sticker. Place your stencil on your nail where you want the star to be.
**TIP** If you have extra sticky stickers, I DID, place the sticker on your shirt, or any fabric, and then peel off and place on your nail. This will take off some sticky-ness but keep just enough for it to work on your nail still.
Paint over the stencil with the color of your choice, I used Essie's Cute as A Button, which is a pink color.
Repeat on all nails.
Peel of the stencils and add a top coat! Nice!
