Step 2 - Apply a smokey brown/gray eyeshadow (I used MAC's Club) to the rest of the eye below the crease.
Step 3 - Blend the green and the smokey brown/gray together. I continued to add both colors and blended them together until I got the desired look. Tip: You don't want to lose the intensity of either color which is why you continue to add more of the colors. When you blend 2 shadows together, the colors can get muddled. So blend, add color, blend, add color, etc.
Step 4- Add eyeliner (I used Make Up Forever 01 black eye liner & Clinique's gel eye liner) and mascara to top and bottom lashes.
Step 5 - Add a highlighter to the brow bone (I used MAC's vanilla pigment). You can do this step whenever really).
Step 6 - I added fake eye lashes -optional (favorites are Ardell's Wispies #120) and then apply mascara on them once the glue has dried. I also filled in her eye brows with eye shadow (I used MAC's Omega).
Step 7 - Add a bright blue eye shadow to the bottom eye lash line (I used blue in Nars Rated R eye shadow duo)

This is our friend Jacky of the band, The August. She had a big show and asked me to do her makeup, and this is what we came up with. Go check out her band here.

DeleteOh, it looks awesome! =) I wish I was a rockstar and could pull this off....my boss would laugh if I showed up at work with "Rated R" makeup, haha
ReplyDeleteHaha :) Well you could always try a toned down version. Maybe line your eyes in the blue?
DeleteLove the makeup!! Just wondering if you could tell me how she did her hair? It's super cute! I have hair her length and I always want to do my curly/ wavy-ish
ReplyDeleteI have no idea. I wasn't there for that part but I'm pretty sure that's her natural hair texture and it's just pinned back.
