As we promised, our first Visual Journal prompt! You've seen what we have worked on in our visual journals already (if you haven't you can see them here.) Now we want to go through prompts with all of you so we can Visual Journal with some structure. We hope these prompts will help you (and us) to not stare at your empty journal page for an hour before you decide what to do. Hopefully this will provide a little direction. Next week we will show you our finished "Use your words" pages. When you have finished your page, snap a picture and send it to us at ohsoprettytheemail@gmail.com. We will choose a few pictures to share on the blog alongside our own pages! Just remember, all you have to do on the page is "Use you words." The rest is up to you! Happy journaling!
*** Edit 4/1/15 if you have come here from Pinterest we apologize for the confusion. We had to take the pictures down due to some copywriting issues. ***
That's oh so pretty!
ReplyDeleteVery creative and oh so cool! Thanks so much for sharing with us :)

These are gorgeous! :) I love visual journals- yeah, people tend to think you're either an insanely motivated doodler or a disorganized scrapbooker. No on both accounts! May send one in if I get round to it...
ReplyDeleteLove this!
ReplyDeleteI took an Art Journaling class with my mom last summer (2011) while my husband was doing an internship in another state. It was awesome and I loved having somewhere to express myself when I was going through a hard time being away from my husband//living alone.
I want to get back into it but I feel like I need that direction and little push to know where to start so I need prompts! :)
Are these your journal pages?
ReplyDeleteThey are Amazing!
They are amazing! I wish we could take credit but if you look at the bottom of the post you will find the links to where we found the images. You can get more info there!
DeleteI don't think the bottomtwo pages are yours - I've seen them elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteNope. Not ours. See the bottom of the post for links to where we found the original images.
DeletePermission or credit to the actual artist? Apparently not. How much else here is screen scraped work of others?
ReplyDeleteActually the original post had the work credited. We had links directly to the original place where we found the pictures. We have since edited the post to make it clear the images are not ours and we made the source links larger.
DeleteI was wondering.... I just had this 'unpinned' I've never had that happen before- I didn't even remember pinning it. :( Thank you for updating the post so I could find them again. And for clarifying that the images are not yours. This clears up the probable issue of the 'unpinning'.
